- Increases the amount of money an insurance company must withhold in the event of a total loss claim to guarantee the building is renovated or remediated by the owner.

- Prevents a State or Local government employee from infringing on the Second Amendment through taxes, fees, confiscation or other means. Includes a penalty for local governments in the event this occurs.
- Passed out of subcommittee in the Senate and will be eligible for consideration in the Judiciary Committee.
- The League is working to remove the liability and financial implications a local government would assume under this proposal.

- Preempts local governments from adopting or administering an ordinance that exceeds federal or state requirements on storm water runoff, discharge, retention, or management.
- This legislation was not moved forward at the subcommittee. However, it could still be moved forward at any point, or the language could be included in other legislation.
